HP Monitor Failure
For some weird reason, when I power up the desktop, the monitor refuses to work. Nothing seems to happen at all. “No input signal” is prompted on the useless monitor afterwards. Several attempts with unplugging the monitor, checking the cables in the back of the monitor and at the back of the machine, everything seems to be connected well. Bare in mind, this NEVER happened before. Never. This only started happening a week and a half ago. The video card is also in good health, too. About 2 and a half hours after this video, it finally came back on. I moved the monitor, it came back on, when I go to adjust the screen back a bit, it goes off again. I’m thinking here that it’s a connection problem. Either that or the monitor is just dying out. What do you think the problem is?
Macbook pro start up problem
I have a macbook pro 15′ from 2009 unibody and it has start up problems. The problem started by not waking up from sleep. I have reset the PRAM, NVRAM, EFI and the SMC as they say how on apple website. I have heard that the problem may be in the network settings in the Ethernet so I have disabled it and also the PPPoE and FireWire. This seemed to have fixed the problem but now I think that the problem just switch to the start up. I also have disabled the sudden motion sensor to see if the problem persists, and it did so I have enabled it. I haven’t try to reinstall the mac os x because I have never done it before. So I don’t want to make a mistake. I have to say that I don’t use any external hardware except a wireless mouse. But I do not keep the USB receiver on when I put the computer to sleep or shut down. The start up problem appears only when my computer is shut down for a long period of time. If not I have no problems. I don’t use the magic mouse and I have the bluetooth switch off. I do not use a remote. I also don’t use the Time Machine. I do not have the power settings set to put the hard disc to sleep when possible Please give your advice.. I need this computer.

MagicJack Plus Quick Review (No Computer required)
This is a quick review of the new MagicJack Plus which allows inexpensive VOIP calls over the internet without a computer. Note that I am in no way associated with MagicJack or any of it’s related companies. Note that the problem I mention about making outgoing calls has been fixed, and it works great. I currently use it with a V-Tech DECT phone system.

Troubleshooting a problem can be a long and tedious task, which may include having to open the case and remove components until the problem goes away. Everyone has their own method and order when troubleshooting. Do you look at the drivers first, potential hardware failure, or recently installed software? When do you decide to format and reinstall? Is there any software that can detect and pinpoint the root of the problem at hand? lockergnome.com http facebook.com
