Detailed Review of Yamakasi 300 Sparta 30" S-IPS Monitor (Part 1)
Please note that 1 day after this video the monitor failed due to over heating of the power brick that gets very hot as I note in the video . The voltage specifications for this power brick (190v-240v) are not correct for North American 110v circuts and while some users have no problems, mine resulted in a display failure. This is also a possible fire hazard. The ebay seller is sending me a replacement and hopefully the unit is not damaged. EDIT: new 100v-240v power brick didn’t help. monitor still dead. negotiating with ebay seller for possible solution. please be aware that returning a monitor to a Korean ebay seller is very expensive ranging up to as much as the monitor itself and most if not all all ebay sellers of this monitor require the buyer to pay the return shipping if a problem occurs within 30 days. Please see below link or more discussion www.overclock.net sorry for dark video. more worth the information than the video itself. Go to full screen as the video turned out darker than planned. In this 15 minute detailed review I go over the ordering this monitor from ebay and details and specs about the monitor. Part 2 of this video will show the monitor VESA mounted, performance using some windows calibration settings, Unigine Valley benchmark and Metro 2033 and text resolution. Note that I say this is a 2650 x 1600 resolution in the video, but I meant 2560 by 1600.

HP Monitor Failure
For some weird reason, when I power up the desktop, the monitor refuses to work. Nothing seems to happen at all. “No input signal” is prompted on the useless monitor afterwards. Several attempts with unplugging the monitor, checking the cables in the back of the monitor and at the back of the machine, everything seems to be connected well. Bare in mind, this NEVER happened before. Never. This only started happening a week and a half ago. The video card is also in good health, too. About 2 and a half hours after this video, it finally came back on. I moved the monitor, it came back on, when I go to adjust the screen back a bit, it goes off again. I’m thinking here that it’s a connection problem. Either that or the monitor is just dying out. What do you think the problem is?

HP Monitor Problem
HP 2159m monitor problem. I bought this monitor a little while back and when the monitor goes to sleep it never ‘wakes back up again.’ I don’t know why this happens. Here is a video on exactly what happens in my problem. It looks like it never reconnects to the computer again. However, when I restart the computer then it connects to the computer just fine. So I can use the monitor like I am using now but when the monitor goes to sleep I can’t use it again unless I restart my computer. Intended for HP Technicians. Thank you for your time and help. Recorded with LG Dare One single shot No edit **********************Update********************** The problem was my computer. Read comments for a quick fix. I tried it with a different computer and the monitor was able to re-find the connection when I turned if off then back on again.
