www.dslrfilmnoob.com I’ve been getting a lot of request to see this little monitor up close. I didn’t have a chance after putting this together to film this monitor in use. So here you are. I will note that it’s hard to properly expose a video monitor, and the color ends up looking a little bit blown out in parts of this video. In its defense, this monitor looks just fine. Are the colors perfect? Probably not, but this monitor does a great job for its size and price. My cellphone is heavier then this monitor which means no real extra weight added to your current setup. In fact you could probably get away with mounting this and a microphone on your camera’s hot shoe without any problems. If you still have questions about this monitor just send me a message and I’ll see if I can help you out. How to Fix a scratched LCD Computer Video Display Monitor, LCD TV Screen*
LCD computer video display monitor screens and LCD tv displays scratch easily because the are made of soft plastic. I accidentally scratched a 9 inch diagonal gouge in my 19″ Samsung monitor, and happened on a free and easy way to reduce or remove the scratches with cardboard. The screen had a very visible dark gouge from top right to lower left that is now invisible. * Disclaimer: The above procedure has only been tested on one model Samsung LCD monitor, and has not been tested on any LCD TV displays. HP Monitor Failure
For some weird reason, when I power up the desktop, the monitor refuses to work. Nothing seems to happen at all. “No input signal” is prompted on the useless monitor afterwards. Several attempts with unplugging the monitor, checking the cables in the back of the monitor and at the back of the machine, everything seems to be connected well. Bare in mind, this NEVER happened before. Never. This only started happening a week and a half ago. The video card is also in good health, too. About 2 and a half hours after this video, it finally came back on. I moved the monitor, it came back on, when I go to adjust the screen back a bit, it goes off again. I’m thinking here that it’s a connection problem. Either that or the monitor is just dying out. What do you think the problem is?

Samsung Monitor S27A950D Issues
First off I want to say “THANKS!” to Amazon for the great support they provide their customers. I’m always amazed when I have an issue with a purchase because Amazon always steps up to the plate and helps, no matter what the issue is. On to the review… I’ve actually received 2 of these monitors and they both had the same problem… For a lack of a better way to describe it.. they both have a lite leak in the bottom right hand corner. One of the monitors was worse than the other in that it had other places that “lite” up the screen. I decided to do a video review because I’m hoping it will better show the problem I’ve had. I have contacted Samsung twice by phone and three times in email. I haven’t heard a word from the email but both of the representatives I spoke with felt they were defective monitors. The last rep was able to pull up the pictures I had sent to see what the issue was. Only suggestion he had was for me to send it to Samsung for repair. I think Samsung should test one to make sure it works ok and send it to me in exchange for one of the bad ones… Of course that’s just my thought. I originally didn’t like this monitor because I thought it looked like a sewing machine… I have to admit it’s a beautiful monitor with spectacular color. Only wish we could resolve the “small” issue I have… If I don’t hear anything more from Samsung I am going to request Amazon to send me a third one in hope it might be a’ok. I’m also going to see if I can find one in a …
