This will work on mac and pc however you do not use the start.command. Instead in notepad copy and paste this: java -Xms1000M -Xmx1000M -jar minecraft_server.jar and save as start.bat in you server folder. If you want to know how I fixed it, I installed PSNLover on my PSP and it worked like a charm. If you have ChickHen,M33-6/M33-4, or other hacks, uninstall it, then try the network update.Worked. Uninstall your hack, then try it out. Fix your router if there is an IP Failure. My keyboard didn’t respond anymore even as my mouse. Unplugging all USB devices wouldn’t help and no response to the Ctrl+Alt+Delete shortcut. I’ve tried to come up with another solution but there was nothing which I could think off. I have a win 7 system so it should run properly as it does always but there is something wrong at this right moment. It’s also very hard to discover which task is responsable for it because after starting up the system again you don’t know where to look. ****FIXED!***** NO MORE HELP NEEDED, THANKS FOR THE INPUT! I basically completely disassembled the PSU unit and then reassembled it as if I were putting in a new one and it all worked. 
THE INITIAL PROBLEM: After a power surge a few months ago, I took my PC to CompUSA to get it “fixed”, I paid $160 to take it home to this. As soon as I turn it on it makes this ridiculously loud noise (seriously, this video doesn’t do the sound justice). I, at first, assumed it was just the fan and tried adjusting its wires to no avail, then I turned it on and checked for loose wires and found the largest bundle of wires that connect to the motherboard gave me a little zap. The PC DOES turn on and function though, despite this eardrum-pounding racket. I really don’t want to take it back to CompUSA again and be robbed, AGAIN (They said it was fixed and working with them, so I clearly broke it by turning it on… right), so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. ***I’m posting this video here to post on some PC help forums, I’ll probably take it down after I solve the problem, unless other people have it, too.***

Bethesda and id software launched RAGE on Tuesday, Oct 4th, however many PC users are complaining about framerate stuttering, texture pop-in, and many other performance issues. Luckily, the gaming community is quickly discovering some work-arounds until id releases its first patch. Watch this video to learn how to: 1. Apply GPU Transcoding options for high-end graphics cards 2. Create a game cache folder that RAGE most likely forgot to create during installation 3. For nVidia GeForce users, tweak your GPU hardware settings (vertical sync) in the nVidia Control Panel UPDATED NEWS: ———————— October 6th: You can also add some launch options to the game if you have purchased the Steam version: 1. In your Steam library, right click RAGE, click Properties, and click the Set Launch Options button. 2. Paste in this launch options string: +cvaradd g_fov 12 +com_skipIntroVideo 1 +image_anisotropy 16 +image_usecompression 0 +g_showplayershadow 1 +m_smooth 1 3. Click OK. This string changes a number of things.
