Apologies for video quality,as it was uploaded directly from the camcorder through my spare laptop Something is happening with my Acer, and i only got it 3-4mo ago, along with 2yr EW I ran into this problem this morning and racked my brain as to how it happened. What you see in the video: 1. I plug in the battery (had a full charge) 2. The power lights glow/blink (stops when i press the power button; remains dimly lit) 3. I plug in the power brick and try again 4. Laptop powers on as normal, then suddenly powers off at startup animation 5. Try again and again. Laptop remains stable, but time it stays on shrinks to 3secs after boot 6. Check for normal sounds (fan, HDD, DVD drive, etc.) What do you think? Overheating? ( i make sure it’s on a flat surface; unknowingly remained on one time while still in my laptop bag, i thought i had turned it off) Condensation? (Laptop travels in a bag, stays inside the house if it’s raining) Dropped? (fell asleep one time while it was on the couch with me; woke up to find it on the floor and freaked) Virus? (couldn’t be, i make sure MSE is up to date, and i scan regularly or whenever it seems a touch slow Another thing was, last night (3-2-2012 @10pm) i made sure to turn it off at the Start orb and watch it turn itself off, then put it on the table with the brick plugged in for charging. Aand my mom will normally put it back on my desk in the morning before i get up. That happened, and lead up to the video you are seeing here. One thing i …

This video shows you how you can easily log in with your Skype account if you ever have this problem or even a similar problem like this. Last week I randomly was not able to sign in to Skype and got the notification: “Can’t open Skype. You are already signed in on this computer. Please sign out and try again.” I took some time to fix this and decided to make a video. You can also apply this same method to any other program that has similar problems. Note: an improved version of this video, with a far superior method is on the way. This video troubleshoots problems that can occur when System Files are preventing Secure Deletion software from wiping Folders on a Windows OS. ADDITIONAL NOTES: 1) If you use Notepad++ then you can open all the files in one go. Just highlight them in Explorer, right-click and select ‘Edit in Notepad++’. Then after you have deleted the file’s content, right click the Tab and hit close. 2) Although it is possible to change the file Properties of a group of files and uncheck the ‘Hidden’ option, you may find that individual system files may still have the ‘Hidden’ option enabled. I find this is true of the desktop.ini file and so I tend to change the properties of files individually.

Find out if you have a good or bad display Test and compare yours to the video. There seems to be at least 2 different quality displays or display contrast. The better display shown on the black model is more rich and has more vibrant colors. Also the contrast from white to black is much better. The black one in the video also has great viewing at any angle without the colors washing out. All settings are identical both have same software versions 2.2.1, one is made in Taiwan and one is made in china but not sure if this makes a difference. Let me know what you think. NOTE: I don’t own this device any more. I left the Video up to help other users.

Recently a friend of mine asked me to help him out with slow start up of his computer. Always it takes too long to boot the computer. It was very slow even after it boots. Though the computer had a decent hardware configuration he is facing the issue. This problem is not un-common. The main reason behind such problems is too many start-up tasks start when windows start. Also as we install different software or applications on computer, there are some background tasks associated with some applications which start running at start-up. In this video demonstration I introduced a extraordinary application which monitors start up programs and provides detailed information about them. We can know which item tooks how much time to load in to memory. This software also provides community recommendations in order to pause it or delay it’s booting. Must watch video for every pc user who suffers from slow computer booting.
