Vrui-2.0 builds on Linux (Fedora 12 tested) and Mac OS X (10.6.3 tested). Other Linux distributions will work, but might need packages that weren’t installed by default. For example, Ubuntu needs mesa-common-dev at least. Kinect-1.1 contains a crude camera calibration utility, without which you won’t be able to reasonably use the 3D viewer, KinectViewer. To run the calibration, run RawKinectViewer and follow the instructions from this video.
