Go to the Advanced tab, then click on the third Settings button. Click on Change, then select your local hard-drive (usually C:). Disable Unnecessary Startup Programs Click on START –> All Programs–> Accessories–> Run–> Type in MSCONFIG click on STARTUP tab–> uncheck any unneeded program–> then restart your computer. This will help your computer to startup faster. Install CCleaner : cleans internet temporary files and cookies. This helps your web browser to run smoother. Visit www.download.com and install CCleaner After installing CCleaner, you are given two options. First, click on RUN CLEANER, this takes about few minutes to gather all the temporary files and cookies. Then click on ANALYZE. This removes the gathered temporary files and cookies. Install Antivirus: make sure your computer is secured with some type of Antivirus Program. If you do not want to purchase Antivirus programs. Install Malwarebytes : malwares are malicious software which includes computer viruses, warms, trojan horses, spyware and other unwanted software or programs. Hibernate/Sleep Mode: When your computer is on Hibernate/Sleep Mode avoiding drastic movement of your laptop. Because your Hard-Drive is still running on slow speed in order to preserve the saved information. Drastic movements will scratch the surface of your Hard-Drive. Diagnostic Programs checks your Hard-Drive for any ERRORS. Such programs can be downloaded from different websites such as www.download.com . We Recommend Drive Fitness Test (DFT); this program checks your Hard-Drive for any errors. Disk Check is another tool offered by WINDOWS. This tool checks your Hard-Drive for any errors. Simply CLICK on SART –> ALL PROGRAMS –> ACCESSORIES –> COMMAND PROMPT –> TYPE in the following command CHKDSK/F. Next you will get a massage “would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts (y/n). Press Y and after restarting your computer you computer automatically starts scanning for any disk error. This process will take time depending on the amounts of the files and capacity of your hard drive. Online Backup: allows you to store your personal data online. Also known as remote backup. i had a slow computer problem because of the recording so i fixed that but trust me theres no viruses i think its very safe because only 1 website you got to download the game launcher which is on the real minecraft site this pretty much takes the minecraft files from 1 site onto your computer you could play on minecraft for free.com but i wouldnt you get to play it but you cant add texture packs so when you download the launcher it gives you the files so you can play with mods and texturepacks thats pretty much it like i said my computer was slow because of java running my interenet was running plus i was recording get bandicam its like fraps but you can record up to 10 minutes and you can record your computer screen as well enjoy minecraft and please buy it in the future
