This is not a rooted rom. This is the official release! I just upgraded my T-Mobile Galaxy S2′s Android firmware from Gingerbread (2.3.6) to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.3) and recorded the whole process. I didn’t encounter any major problems, and so far the ICS update is working perfectly Proceed at your own risk though. I had no problems, but that doesn’t mean for sure that you won’t. TIPS & NOTES: Make sure you **backup everything on your phone** before performing the upgrade. Make sure your battery is fairly full. You must also already have Gingerbread (Android 2.3.6) in order to upgrade to ICS 4.0.3 ! If you have any connection problems with Kies, restart your PC and your phone, and try again. Kies can also be fairly slow, so give it a little time before you conclude it’s not working. DO NOT UNPLUG your phone while the update is running. Set it down, and don’t touch it until the update is complete. I would also recommend not plugging your phone into a USB hub while performing the update. Use one of the main USB 2.0 ports on your PC. Make sure your computer is not set to sleep or shutdown while idle. If you cannot live without your phone for a few days, do not try this, and just wait for the OTA update! I’ve read that some people have had issues and bricked their phones. You would then have to take it into a T-Mobile store for a fix. I have a backup phone, so I was willing to take the risk. I probably won’t have time to help you out if you have problems, so read the …

Meru Networks Provides Effective Wi-Fi Guest Access at London’s Dryland Business Center
Simplify and control wireless LAN network management with Meru Networks – for more info visit: www.MeruNetworks.com Dryland is a new style of service office. At the front we have a café. We offer hot drinks and room service to all of our clients, and we like to push the boundaries with the technology. We offer far more than over service offices. We want our clients to be able to show up, plug their laptop in, log onto the wireless network, and be able to get everything they want to be able to get out on the Internet and on their own private local network, straight off from the word go. Technology, especially the wireless Internet, was one of the key things for us to consider. Because if you’re coming to work, you want all the tools in order to be able to work, and Internet tends to be one of the most important things. We were asked by Dryland about two years ago, to come in and provide insight on the wireless technology that was needed, to help them create this vision. So, effectively everything that works about Dryland, not just in terms of Internet connection for the members and for myself, everything else, where the background systems all run off the same, wireless. So it has to be reliable, it has to be quick, it has to be good because we are effectively putting all our eggs in one basket and doing with Meru. Dryland is all about creating an interesting and vibrant work environment; and wireless is a core component of making that environment work effectively. The …

Lecture 23 | Programming Abstractions (Stanford)
Lecture 23 by Julie Zelenski for the Programming Abstractions Course (CS106B) in the Stanford Computer Science Department. Julie shows a YouTube video of Barack Obama answering a question about what kind of sorting algorithm he would use to sort a list of data. She also gives several examples of problems that are capable of being solved with sorting. She goes on to say that if you think about certain problems as graphs, finding the solution is sometimes easier as well as easier to understand. To be able to do this, she explains how to represent graphs in C++.
