Windows 8 Pro Safeguarding, Demonstration 1: A non-Microsoft application actually working!

Windows 8 Pro Safeguarding, Demonstration 1: A non-Microsoft application actually working!

A demonstration of protecting a Windows 8 Pro PC from common computing problems before the fact, using the baseline PC set up in Part 1. This demonstration features a non-Microsoft mainstream application actually working on the safeguarded PC. I ran into problems with DVD menus because of virtual machine limitations, but I was able to produce a DVD image without requiring administrator credentials. There is a lot of fast-forwarding because of the slow demonstration PC; it is a VMware virtual machine in ESXi 5.1 on an AMD Turion processor; AMD’s low power CPU brand. On my real Intel Core2 Duo PC, making DVDs with menus works much better. Hey Adobe: If I can do this on a virtual machine as a standard user with an obsolete video suite, why can’t I do it on a real PC as a standard user with Creative Suite 6? www.antiwindowscatalog.com Trademarks used are property of their respective owners. NOTE: I will delete and, if necessary, report off-topic comments. This is not a forum for hating Windows.

How to upgrade / install a RAM memory module in Fujitsu Amilo Li1818 notebook computer

How to upgrade / install a RAM memory module in Fujitsu Amilo Li1818 notebook computer

Step by step instructions with pictures on how to upgrade DDR2 RAM memory module for Fujitsu Siemens Li 1818 laptop. Complete removal and installation procedure for SO DIMM 200-pin memory module. Laptop will run alot faster with more memory added and the increase to faster memory speed is another bonus. There are 2 SO-DIMM memory slots. The maximum supported memory is 2Gb (2 x 1Gb modules) 1024Mb = 1Gb 1024Mb + 512Mb = 1536Mb = 1.5Gb 1024Mb + 1024Mb = 2048Mb Maximum Memory speed supported is DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz (non-ECC) Avoid handling memory modules from gold plated edge connectors and discharge any static build first up by touching metal grounded object before installing. Many office tables are earthed on the frame when power extension lead attached is plugged in. A good place to attach anti-static wristband is table frame. If still puzzled wearing a metal suit of armour will definitely cure any static problems Amilo Li 1818 has the Intel 945GM chipset which actually supports 4GB so you can try a 2Gb module after a latest bios update. Windows Xp operating system will not recognize more than 3Gb memory though. I have heard of this laptop running 2.5Gb memory with Vista just fine. If you still need more speed watch my other video on upgrading the processor / CPU. You may need to update bios to support the faster processor depending on CPU speed. Fastest CPU supported: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2GHz, 667MHz, 4MB L2 cache) If the processor for example is a Intel 2050(1,6GHz …
