Ainol Flame Review
First of all, sorry for such a long review, I just wanted to show you as much as possible about this tablet. As usual, I bought the tablet from Spemall: www.spemall.com The Spemall’s representatives noticed my videos on YouTube and asked me to share the coupon for all youtubers. I don’t mind, so here it is: YouTube3%OFF It is a 3% coupon for any order above $100. Later, I’ll add this coupon to all my videos. Now, several words about the tablet. I pre-ordered it about 3 months ago, but had to wait for Ainol released first Fire, and then Flame. The Flame was released only on September, 17. So, I received it 8 days ago and now I’m ready to make the review. Actually, as the pre-order person I received some additional bonuses from Spemall, like a sleeve case, stylus, toys. I just did not show them on video, because it is for pre-orders only. I also forgot to show the charger, I’m sorry. I received the charger with the European, not Chinese plug, and CE certification. I tested it with the multimeter, and it showed 5,29V, this is a good result. Absolutely no problems with the charger. The Flame is interesting, first of all, because of its 7″ 16:10 Super-IPS HD 1280*800 screen, 5 Mp back camera with flash and autofocus, 5000 mAh battery and integrated Bluetooth. So, I just had to order it:) The results of tests and benchmarks: AnTuTu Benchmark – 7900 points Quadrant – 4200 points Basemark Taiji – 15.3 FPS Nenamark 2 – 33.9 FPS My next review will be devoted to Pipo M1. It is a …
Goodspeed Mobile Hotspot Makes Roaming Charges History? – Demo
Uros has solved a problem that has irked me for a long time. Why is data on my phone so expensive abroad? They are making roaming charges obsolete by introducing their mobile hotspot Goodspeed. Goodspeed connects to local carriers and creates a wireless LAN that connects your laptop or phone to the internet. It currently works in 10 European countries and they hope to get to 30 countries soon. Inside the device are 10 sim card slots that are supplied by their partner carriers. In Finland they have teamed up with DNA and will be selling Goodspeed through DNA shops. The monthly subscription of 9,90 € gives you unlimited use it in your home country. Using it abroad is an additional 5,90 € per day. The device itself costs 269 €.

Everybody has become conscious of their “Online Paper Trail.” We’ve detagged ourselves from those embarrassing photos from a college party 5 years ago. But what’s really out there? Are we realistically able to protect ourselves from all the threats that exist online? And how much of our social presence do we really own and control? tinc: the difficulties of a peer-to-peer VPN on the hostile Internet
by Guus Sliepen Rather than configuring tunnels, a tinc VPN is more or less specified by its endpoints. The tinc daemons will automatically set up tunnels in order to create a full mesh network. The problem in today’s Internet is that many users are trapped behind NAT, and ISPs are known to drop ICMP packets, IP fragments, and/or UDP packets, making reliable connections between peers difficult. Another problem is how to manage authentication and authorization in a fully decentralized, but user-friendly way. In this talk I will look at solutions already implemented in tinc and other VPN software, and I look at future work to solve the remaining problems. tinc is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) daemon that automatically tries to create a full mesh network between peers. It can route IPv4 and IPv6 packets, or switch any type of Ethernet packet to create a virtual LAN. It can tunnel over IPv4 and IPv6, and runs on Linux, *BSD, Solaris, MacOS/X and Windows.
