This monitor would power on then go back off. This symptom is caused by a very common problem that has affected most modern computer electronics in the last 10 years. Cheap and faulty capacitors. LCD monitors are no different and you can save yourself hundreds of dollars trying to replace them by simply replacing some of the faulty capacitors inside. All you need is basic tools, some replacement capacitors and basic soldering skills. Total retail parts cost for this job was about $6, if you order them in bulk you may be able to pay less than $1!!!!!!!! This Acer monitor has been in my office for a few years, it died early and was close to end of warranty but was never shipped off due to a lazy employee in the past that waited too long. NOD32 is an extremely reputable company in the anti-virus world, and their online scanner is a fantastic tool for any IT professional or basic home user to have in the instance of a serious infection. One important thing to note is that this scanner will not work if you do not have networking or the internet available on the machine you are planning to run it on. That being said, this is one of the reasons we booted our computers in safe mode with networking in episode 2 of this series. Using the ESET NOD32 online scanner, I would be surprised if it didn’t locate the virus on your machine, but it wouldn’t be the first time, just hang in there – we’ll track it down.

Here is a great solution to fix the main problem that most windows 7 users have and that is the freeze/lag situation, with these tips your pc should be running more smoothly and much more faster than before. Bonus tips: -If you have a laptop with Windows 7, don’t have so many accounts only have one.(turn off guest) -If you again have a laptop with Windows 7, have a router connected to your laptop so it can get better wi-fi which prevents the freeze because wi-fi needs lots of power and most laptops really dont support it which than causes it to crash when you have random programs open.

image of my MBP (mid 2007) with display issues, which can be affected by me raising or lowering it. I took this video with my cameraphone (motorola ZN5). Note: the issue has progressed until 3/4 of the screen will immediate fade unless I pinch the screen roughly in the center right. This pressure somehow keeps a connection that causes the display to work perfectly, and so I’ve been using it to date with a clothespin and toothpick that provide enough pressure while not obscuring much the screen.
