(From Windows XP to Windows 7 on my Compaq Presario V3000) Hi. I had the same problem and was able to fix it. I had to download 2 drivers and manually install the 1st driver. This is how I did it: First, download this(1st Link) and exctract(ex. “C:drivers” or Desktop). Now open up “Device Manager” and right-click the audio driver(High Definition Audio Codec) and click “Update Driver Software”. Click “Browse my computer for driver software”, then “Let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer”. Click “Have disk…” then “Browse” then navigate to extraction folder, find and select the INF file(BD1VHDza.inf) to install. After installing it’s still going to say “No audio device” but don’t worry. You just have to download and install(auto-install will be fine) this(2nd Link) and then you’re done. I hope this works for you so good luck. (Not sure if first step is really necessary but it worked for me.) 1st Link: drivers.softpedia.com 2nd Link: h10025.www1.hp.com

Compaq Evo D500 and D510 SFF Computers
Please read the whole description. A long time ago, someone asked if I’d make a video about the Compaq Evo D5xx computers. There were other members of this series…maybe a 300 and a 700 set of models? Here are some Compaq Evo D500 and D510 small form factor (SFF) computer systems. In this video, I compare them to the previous Deskpro EN systems and show the differences. Like the Deskpro systems before them, some of these systems have fully functional and software accessible fan control functions. Some don’t, due to the use of a different controller IC for the fans that SpeedFan doesn’t seem to understand how to operate (or that it can’t program as it wishes). The audio and graphics subsystems are also demonstrated in this video. There are also some neat things printed on the motherboard. I believe the song used (briefly!) in this video was performed by a group known as “Reunion”. I’m not 100% sure of this.

This computer used to trial version of Office 2003 but I replaced it with Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student we were Microsoft Works for a while. It’s was kind of slow at start-up but I fixed after the video by running CCleaner to fix the registry errors and unwanted clutter this computer is filled with my step-dad’s hunting pictures and with our family. Laptop display not working? 3 possible solutions to do yourself
In this video i explain three possible solutions to a blank, black, not working laptop display which you can do yourself before bringing it to a professional. 1) Drain “ALL” excess charge from the laptop (you would be surprised how many laptops display will fire up from this simple step). Then fire the laptop back up. 2) you may have a corrupted RAM/memory chip (or your RAM/memory slot could be dirty or corrupted) Change the RAM and/or change RAM slots. I even solved display issues on a PC with this step. 3) Sync an external monitor to replace the display from the laptop. Hook up the laptop to an external monitor then press a toggle key (ex. FN+F5, or F4, or F10 depending on your laptop. You can do this with a blank laptop display. If these steps dont resolve your issue then it could be the back light display, video card, mother board, loose connections or many other possible causes. Post a comment if you need help or which one of the 3 steps resolved your issue. PS. if your PCs display does not come on, try to reset the cmos/bios. I just assisted a youtuber with his issue and he simply reset the jumpers on his PC and everything is back up and running now. And please SUBSCRIBE: www.youtube.com
