Download hiqh quality version: bit.ly Description: events.ccc.de Cory Doctorow: The coming war on general computation The copyright war was just the beginning The last 20 years of Internet policy have been dominated by the copyright war, but the war turns out only to have been a skirmish. The coming century will be dominated by war against the general purpose computer, and the stakes are the freedom, fortune and privacy of the entire human race. The problem is twofold: first, there is no known general-purpose computer that can execute all the programs we can think of except the naughty ones; second, general-purpose computers have replaced every other device in our world. There are no airplanes, only computers that fly. There are no cars, only computers we sit in. There are no hearing aids, only computers we put in our ears. There are no 3D printers, only computers that drive peripherals. There are no radios, only computers with fast ADCs and DACs and phased-array antennas. Consequently anything you do to “secure” anything with a computer in it ends up undermining the capabilities and security of every other corner of modern human society. And general purpose computers can cause harm — whether it’s printing out AR15 components, causing mid-air collisions, or snarling traffic. So the number of parties with legitimate grievances against computers are going to continue to multiply, as will the cries to regulate PCs. The primary regulatory impulse is to use combinations of …
Slow Working Computer
Let’s Play Lands of Lore 3 01: Introduction
Well, here is your suprise. I know. You really ARE shocked, aren’t you? I actually think I have managed to get it working at long last. Not on my machine, but on someone else’s computer. That and I had to dish out some money to get the correct software to get it to work… but I think I actually have it working now. Don’t expect any more videos to come immediately… but I am sure that we’ll be able to see a slow trickle until I am ready to commit to getting this one underway. So without further ado folks… We started this journey together. This series started my let’s play career off. And now, I hope to finally give myself a crown which I can wear. Enjoy.

RCT3 Shanghai Tower 2012
Matt9537 and deathfearsnone started a new account for exceptional roller coasters in RCT3. This is Backward Productions: www.youtube.com Now to my new project: New tower new design new elements old problem The glass fassade makes the computer slow. There are glass facades that do not make the computer slow. The problem of these is a poor graphical representation of the elements behind the glass. Then there is the problem that this glass is after 200 meters not shown graphically. For skyscraper over 500 meters height is this not suitable. Glass which is shown graphically on the computer in a long distance unfortunately make your computer slow. A few hundred glass elements are fine, but a skyscraper like this requires more than 4000 glass panels. The tower is 170 elements high. This corresponds to 510 meters or 1673 feet. Glass, stones, trees and parts of the lighting are CSO. Everything else is original. The D Lean-cheat (CTRL+shift+0) helped me always to had the correct camera position to made a time lapse video. Do you want to test this file on your computer, please go to my account and send me a message from there with your e-mail address. I am going to send you this as soon as me possible. For comments or suggestions I am grateful.
GH 5/29/12 Elizabeth and Matt
Announcement: Thank you so much to SimplyGH for clipping this for me! I’m having major computer problems so I’m probably going to be late with posting clips next week or I might not be able to post clips until much later. I’m hoping to get everything solved by the end of next week, but we’ll see. In the meantime, I’m slow at replying back to people. These were probably the last Latte scenes (*sniff-sniff*) and given my computer situation, I’m not going to be uploading anymore Liz clips unless there’s a mention of Matt. I will finish clipping Matt’s exit storyline though. I was planning on stopping the Liz clips anyway after Matt stopped airing, because I want to take a step back from the current GH and I need a break from having the responsibility of uploading daily soap clips on time. There are amazing Liz clippers elsewhere on YT though. Also, I did just get a new HD tuner to connect to my satellite box. I’m aiming to clip the Liz scenes from the Soapnet GH reruns. So if you’re interested in Liz clips from a few years back, be on the lookout for that eventually after I get my computer situation figured out and I can hopefully get my new tuner working. HP Pavillion dv6 Complete Disassembly and Reassembly. 2011 Laptop
HP Quad Edition DV6 laptop. Intel 2720QM Sandy Bridge Processor 2.2 GHz (3.3 GHz turbo boost) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6570 (1GB GDDR5) 6 GB DDR3 Ram Took it completely apart to apply some new thermal paste. What they put on there was a mess, spilled out all around the chips. Applied some MX-4. I will have some video comparisons up, but what I do have to say is the temps run about the same, BUT the clock speeds run higher during stress testing. It appears the laptop tries to hit a set temp around 82 degree’s regardless of clock speed. So with the new paste it run’s slightly faster around 2.7 GHz consistently compared to 2.4-2.5 GHz during the same testing as before. For a quad core laptop with a good graphics card, HP really could have designed a better heatsink for this model. Puny if you ask me. Idles 50-55 C. Really easy laptop to take apart. Had to do it twice, since after the first time I put it completely back together, the computer told me I forgot to hook up the fan. I had to take it COMPLETELY apart again for one connector, got it done in about 20 minutes total that time around, including put back together. This is the third laptop I took apart now, I find a thrill in doing it. Almost like surgery lol. I do have to say I am fairly good at computer repair and working on computers to speed them up. Have a few jobs that hired me on the side to work on computers for them. I love doing it, but I’m not pursuing a degree in it unfortunately. In the medical field actually …
