During 1960s to late 80s there was a widespread practice in all computer softwares to use two digits for repreasenting a year rather than using 4 digits. This was done to save computer disk and memory space because these resources were relatively expensive in those times. As the year 90′s approached experts began to realize this major shortcoming in the computer application softwares. In year 2000, the computer systems could interpret 00 as 1900 messing up all the computing work. For example if a program function is calculating difference between two dates, it would calculate a negative number. For example difference between 1 Jan 2000 and 31 Dec 1999 could be calculated as -100 years rather than 1 day. This was a major bug for the whole finance industry. The bug not only existed in computer software but it also existed in the firmware being used in the computer hardware. In general this bug threatened all the major industries including utilities, banking, manufacturing, telecom, airlines. How was it averted? Y2K bug was a clicking time bomb for all major computer applications. The computer and system application companies came out with year 2000 compliant operating systems and system software. IT companies around the world spent billions of dollars to go through their entire application source code to look for the Y2K …

There are many different types of viruses and worms one in particular being the Netsky. This is actually a prolific family of computer worms. This family of worms is perhaps most famous of all for comments contained within the code of its variants insulting the authors of the Bagle and MyDoom worm families. In both these cases, the worm was sent out as an email and worked by enticing recipients to open an attachment. Once a recipient had opened this attachment the attached program would scan the computer for email addresses and email itself to all the addresses found.

No stupid downloads or payments. They only cause more computer lag. this is the real Built-In manual security-system your computer has built in. This is the Windows Vista way to get to it, but there is a similar way on all other kinds of Windows. ( I have tested it ) My Grandmother’s computer used to have horrible lag. I meen it could NOT load a page at all. She asked if I could fix it and I told her I would try. I did this and now the computer is fast as hell. It had a 3500 MB Spyware Program hidden inside it. I used this to get it out.

HP 2159m monitor problem. I bought this monitor a little while back and when the monitor goes to sleep it never ‘wakes back up again.’ I don’t know why this happens. Here is a video on exactly what happens in my problem. It looks like it never reconnects to the computer again. However, when I restart the computer then it connects to the computer just fine. So I can use the monitor like I am using now but when the monitor goes to sleep I can’t use it again unless I restart my computer. Intended for HP Technicians. Thank you for your time and help. I tried it with a different computer and the monitor was able to re-find the connection when I turned if off then back on again.
