Alrighty, since people were having trouble I took it upon myself to make a simple package for you to use when updating to a new version of Mac OS X Lion. This video will teach you how to use the Update Scripts created by Soul Dev in order to update a hackintosh or Mac VM safely. It replaces problematic drivers after the update but before they kick in. Okay, with the release of Lion I’ve been pretty busy recently and I apologize to those waiting on this video, but here you go, the final tutorial for running Snow Leopard in VMware (provided no more combo updates come out). Most issues are fixed in this video, along with the infamous hardware virtualization problem. I’ll put a writeup of everything on my blog soon for those interested in reading more on everything.
