My sister Sony Ericsson W595 earpiece no sound. First I suspect the speaker part. When checked deep inside two line of the main ribbon from back to front panel was teared. Then I replace the ribbon. Fortunately the price is cheap. Finally, it fixed. The phone show good in LCD, no display problem that was tricky. But going dept into ribbon there only two line affected which is might be the earpiece connection.

The NC10 seems to have a frequent problem which causes the screen to become all white (or another single color). Forum reports say that moving the display cable around can fix this problem – at least temporary. This video shows how to disassemble the lid, reach LCD panel and the cable, and then how to get everything back together again. Amazingly, this really made the white screen problem go away even nothing was really repaired. First successful cable massage I’ve ever seen 🙂 Update: The problem was completely gone for 6 weeks, then started to reappear. Currently I’m working around it by squeezing the back of the lower right corner of the screen until it goes away again. To fix this permanently you’d probably have to replace the cable, which is difficult because: – you’d have to find a replacement cable (anyone know of a source?) – you’d have to get the new cable through the hinge – you’d have to connect it at both ends, so you’d have to disassemble not only the panel part, but also the keyboard part of your device.

Need to turn monitor off and on a few times to get screen back to normal. Restart pc problem is back. Change input source problem is back. Dvi, Hdmi, problem is there. Dont know what this problem is. Sent monitor back to online retailer. They tested the monitor and said nothing is wrong with it. Sorry for bad quality. Finally completed the ticker I had designed. Has 5 rows of 12 pixels each for the display. Each row has 40 bits of memory that is go through for a total 200 bits of memory. This was built on my multiplayer server with the help of Bemoliph and seems to result in odd behavior with pixels getting desynchronized from other ones. I’m guessing there is max number of gates that can be updated per cycle which results in it slowly desynchronizing over time. I need to try to have my memory selection signal be 1 more cycle so the flicker isn’t as bad.
