Monitors fail. In most cases, it’s a capacitor problem and you can cheaply and easily identify and replace them. For me it wasn’t and this is the solution I found to get me by until I can afford a new one.

NVIDIA is aware of this problem and is working on a fix. Choose 720p and load full screen if you can’t see. I had an issue in win7 where suddenly I could not get an internet connection. Instead, the taskbar would display “No Access” or “Limited Access”. I could ping IP’s within my local network, and browse them in network browser but no connection could be made locally or via the internet. I tried everything from switching to wireless to reinstalling the drivers. Apparently a core windows file was corrupted. The only solution that worked was using system restore to load a previous restore point. The Fix: Thankfully I had a previous system restore point (which I had to activate in safe mode) and the problem was solved. I’m still not sure what caused it, but I’ll leave this video here as a suggestion for anyone else. I am showing the problem in the video, NOT the solution. There is no reason to leave a stupid comment saying you can’t find the fix. They will just be flagged/removed anyway.

My Dell Dimension E521 pc would not eject the dvd tray when the button is pushed. I came across the solution from Youtuber linli540 when I was looking at wind turbine videos. He was speaking in Taiwanese. I hope this repair in English will help you. Eager to fix my pc, I broke open the dvd reader recorder of my Dell pc. I used one piece of paper initially to reduce the magnetism of the magnet in the nylon hub attached to the upper metal case. That worked half of the time. I added a second piece of paper to cover the magnet which made it much better. You can try a thin card and glue it down well. Try nail polish instead of glue if it doesn’t adhere well. You might also want to use a small diameter paper, the size of a penny. I don’t know how long my repair would last. I was using the drive mostly to install programs and drivers. Other dvd non ejecting problem relates to worn belt drive. This is not the case with this dvd. I suspect this model Sony brand and similar dvd drives will eventually suffer this problem. Please note I am not responsible should you use my method of repair and damage your drive or dvd. Thanks for watching.
