Possible Reasons "Plugged in, not charging" for laptops
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: What I am presenting to you solve my problem of why the laptop is not charging, but it MIGHT NOT WORK OR SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS. This is informational only so please DON’T HATE MY VIDEO, and DON’T DISLIKE MY VIDEO. This is a Dell Inspiron 6400. It was working fine with charging until one day, I saw the battery icon said “Plugged in, not charging.” I had tried some methods such as: 1) power off the laptop, remove the battery, power on without battery and shut down and then replace the battery. 2) uninstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery in the Device Manager. However, these methods did not work for me. It did work for others. So I guessed that either the AC charger is working improperly or the battery is dead which can no longer take charge. As for me, before deciding to buy the battery which is expensive, I test the AC charger with another computer to see what’s going on. I use three different AC charger from Dell which I labeled: red = plug in but not charging blue = plug in and charging green = plug in and charging As a result, I found out that my AC charger (red label) was not working on the Inspiron 6400 and another laptop, but the blue and green worked on the Inspiron 6400 and another laptop. Therefore, I concluded that it was the AC charger, not the battery. Although it says that the battery needs to be placed, it is still able to hold the charge up to 1 hour. ShadowRock Battle Network 3 – Scenario 7 [1/3]
Welcome back for Scenario 7. The gameplay here was actually broadcasted live on Twitch TV earlier. Considering that, there are a few things to note about the video in general: 1. The stream was actually broadcasted in standard definition (my mediocre internet connection doesn’t allow me to broadcast in HD without problems), so the video quality will be a bit on the not-so-good side. And before you say “why didn’t you use VBA’s recording feature”, well that’s because when I start recording, my emulator tends to lag while playing with the recording going, and since I was showing this live, I didn’t think the live stream viewers would’ve enjoyed that small lag fest. Perhaps for future streams I could work out a non-laggy way of recording amidst streaming. 2. The first few minutes in, the audio is echoed. This is because when I started streaming, I stupidly left the page for the channel (where it was being shown) open on my internet browser, so it gets mixed into the audio here. Thankfully a viewer pointed it out so I could fix it early on, but yeah… 3. I didn’t realize this until the stream was over, but the video is actually cropped off a bit on the sides, oops! Otherwise, enjoy. _______________________________________ Playlist Link: www.youtube.com Show Link: www.youtube.com _______________________________________ Website: www.shadowrock.co.cc Facebook www.facebook.com Twitter: twitter.com Twitch TV Channel: www.twitch.tv YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com
