Nokia Lumia 800 battery life problem
Are you experiencing problems with the Nokia Lumia 800 battery? Nokia just confirmed that while the battery itself is fine, a software problem on certain variants is limiting the phone’s ability to access the full battery capacity. A software update in early 2012 will fix affected devices, but Nokia can arrange for a replacement phone if you cannot wait. To check if your device is affected, check the diagnostic tool and select battery status. If your full charge capacity reads less than 1000 mAh then your phone is affected with this specific issue and you may find it is necessary to charge your phone more frequently than normal. Dialing ##634# opens the diagnostics tool. How’s the battery life on your Nokia Lumia 800? Are you affected? Contact Nokia Care at www.Nokia.com/support if you need to get a replacement. Back out of heavy apps and apps that you don’t need to use in the near future. And make exceptions to the rule on Apps that run poorly when they are running in the background. For example, Asphalt 7 would get a D- for battery efficiency, Modern Combat a C, and Virtua Tennis an A+. When you see Application Monitor turn yellow, orange, and especially red, it is a good indication that you should take a look to see if an app is unnecessarily draining your battery. How to repair a Dell Laptop / Battery Charging power problem with a DC adapter.
How I fixed a Dell Laptop that refused to charge the battery and recognize that I was using a genuine Dell DC Power adapter. It took some careful adjustments to the DC jack in the back of the laptop. In addition there is a signal cable that easily gets severed over time in the end of the DC power cable. By making these two repairs, the laptop works perfectly, the power cord stays in firmly, and the battery charges without problem.
