This is an overview of LED-backlit non-TN only (IPS, MVA, PVA, PLS) LCD Monitors released until December 2011. I’ve made this list because I have a hard time deciding which monitor is the right one for me, and I’ve noticed there are more people like me who are looking for ‘the perfect monitor’ (non-TN). The expensive professional monitors with LED backlight have not been included (LG W2420R, HP DreamColor LP2480zx, QUATO Intelli Proof 240 LED, Lacie 730). It is NOT: “LED versus LCD”. That is just an (incorrect) marketing slogan. It is: “LED LCD versus CCFL LCD”.
