This year it was important to cover all the event areas for the offshore race. It’s the first time all the boats are stopping in Stockholm, so it was important to get Internet for free through wireless solution both for the sailors, and the teams so they can prepare, but also for the visitors. The first time was the Volvo Ocean Race, second time Love 2010, and this time AF Offshore Race. The common thing in projects like this is that IT infrastructure and wireless access have become a very critical part. It’s important that all the teams can get connected, and they have high density requirements and they have a lot of applications to communicate.
