Help needed for my LG Flatron W2242T-PF LCD Monitor!!! Don’t really know what’s happening here and couldn’t find any answer closed to my problems before I decided to take any actions of repairing this monitor by myself. I’d owned this monitor for almost 3 years since Jan-2009 and it was on my wife’s PC. She hardly use, maybe about an hour or two per day, and it’s mainly for her surfing the web and so on, and she don’t play any hardcore/graphical intense games. This problem had occured about 3 days back without a warning except an electrical buzzing sound from a Choke or an Invertor behind the panel, since about six months of usage before I’d passed down to her, and I don’t think the buzzing sound would cause this on 4:55 ~ 5:30. I had dismantled it to check the capacitors and none of them seemed to be bloated which I’d initially thought of to be causing this problem. I’d checked the ribbon cable leading from the PCB to the LCD panel and the backlight, no problems found. So, what’s the real problem here? Hope you guys can give some answers by leaving the in the comment below. A very BIG Thank You for watching and in advance for your answers.
Monitor Problem
Mysterious blinking monitor problem
MacBook Pro hooked up to HP 24″ monitor LP2475w via DisplayPort cable. Monitor was working fine with a different computer. Apple geniuses tried everything with the MBP and finally agreed to give me a new one. This one has the same problem of randomly blinking, but ONLY when set at a high resolution (required for photo editing). Based on support forums on manufacturers’ websites, many people have been exchanging monitors and laptops with this problem and I haven’t seen what the real solution is. Please post if you know the answer. Thank You!

Samsung LCD monitor problem during booting [Part 1]
This problem arouse whenever I’m booting my pc , a blank screen with white lines would just pop out when the screen supposed to show the OS selected screen(my pc multiboot windows xp and 7).But luckily I know the sequence of the OS(first choice is xp while the other is 7),so I just need to press enter for xp or press the down arrow button for 7.This problem would also arouse whenever I boot a disc which is not graphical(like windows xp installation disc).I can’t even see the actual content on the disc.Besides that it will slowly change color which I would show it on PART 2 Video because i accidentally press the stop recording button of my camera so the video is separated.Anyway everything is fine right after i boot into the OS,and I don’t know why it doesn’t show this kind of problem whenever I booted into a graphical CD like windows vista or 7 installation disc.Any idea? Problem with Computer – Virus? Videocard?
The desktop computer at home suddenly started doing this recently. Starts as soon as it is turned on until i give up and turn it off again, its not a problem with the monitor as i plugged it into my laptop and used as an extension to check it still worked. I was thinking it was perhaps a problem to do with the video/graphics card as ive seen similar things happen due to that component although much easier to remedy. as far as i can tell the rest of the compter is functioning as normal. (i can tell as upon booting up it asks me to press f1 which i do when it beeps three times) please can you leave me some advice and hoopla for me so i can get it sorted
