This is an overview of LED-backlit non-TN only (IPS, MVA, PVA, PLS) LCD Monitors released until December 2011. I’ve made this list because I have a hard time deciding which monitor is the right one for me, and I’ve noticed there are more people like me who are looking for ‘the perfect monitor’ (non-TN). The expensive professional monitors with LED backlight have not been included (LG W2420R, HP DreamColor LP2480zx, QUATO Intelli Proof 240 LED, Lacie 730). It is NOT: “LED versus LCD”. That is just an (incorrect) marketing slogan. It is: “LED LCD versus CCFL LCD”. So here is the list: (“0=56cd 12W” means: At brightness level 0 the brightness of this monitor is 56 cd/m2 and uses 12 Watts) (AG coating = Anti Glare coating) LED e-IPS 23″ (1920×1080)(6bit + 2bit FRC): -AOC i2353Fh 0=70-87cd 17-18.4W 94%sRGB 72%NTSC. Mild AG coating? -AOC i2353Ph 0=70-87cd 17-18.4W 94%sRGB 72%NTSC. Mild AG coating? -AOC i2354Fh (same as i2353Fh?) -AOC i2340v+ (Asia only?) -AOC i2351Fe 9W (Asia only?) -Asus ML239H 0=83cd 20W 90%-94.4%sRGB 71%Adobe (overclockers.ru). Mild AG coating? -Asus PA238Q 0=73-7cd 20W 94.5%sRGB. Electric noise (humming/buzzing)(Prad forums) Harsh AG coating. -Asus VS239H 0=56cd 12W 100%sRGB?? 74%NTSC -Asus VS239N (Asia only?) -Dell U2312HM 0=110-114cd 16W 94%sRGB. Noisy (humming/buzzing) (Dell forums, other forums) Harsh AG coating. -Eizo EV2335W 0=6cd 8W, 40=122cd=15W. Estimated 98%sRGB (extrahardware.cnews). PWM flickering, BLB, IPS glow. Mild AG coating. Is likely PLS …

Part 1 of 4. Connecting your Cisco network to a non cisco network. For example, connecting your PC to a switch to a router to another router to a non cisco router provided to you by your ISP like FiOS for example. I also go into some OSPF, RIP, EIGRP set up and do some route redistribution into the home network. IOS 12.2 can be used here, but you’ll need 12.3 if you want to take advantage of the DHCP feature on the E0 interface as shown.
