You will need a special Caddy to perform this installation. The process is rather simple but please follow the instructions and read the warning below… WARNING: This is not a repair or procedure Apple stands behind. Though it’s completely reversible, it will void Apple Care. Should you damage anything in the process it will also void Apple Care, SO BE CAREFUL! I highly recommend putting your optical drive back in before taking your MacBook to an Apple Store for different problems or other maintenance. Out of sight, out of mind. This tutorial is provided for educational and instructional purposes. Macmixing.com cannot be held responsible for any damage you may incur from this process. Proceed at your own risk. This is not recommended for beginners or people unfamiliar with the internal components of a MacBook. That being said, the whole operation is really easy. Check my website out at www.thenoc.tv Download Process explorer at technet.microsoft.com If you ever had a system that was running a bit slow you might have thought about simply adding more ram to it, however that is not always the fix. Using some tools like process explorer and task manager can help you determine if your performance issue is due to lack of RAM, or another issue. Sometimes your system can be running slow for another reason altogether, such as failing hardware, or a run away process in the background. Using the right tool might just save you some time and trouble of isolating the real problem.

How to use Procmon to Troubleshoot a Problem by Britec.co.uk If you are not familiar, process monitor (procmon) is monitoring tool that helps you to monitor in real time processes activitiy, Registry and file-system. It combines to useful former tools of technet.microsoft.com called FileMon and RegMon. Also with Process Monitor you can log activity during the initialization of boot-start device drivers which is probably the most useful option. My example will be rather simple just to show you how to use ProcMon as far as this will be enough to understand what can be done with it. To be honest, to use Process Monitor you must have certain knowledge about windows processes as well as their names and usage. I will use the general Process Monitor example with ccleaner. ———————————————– need help with computer problems? www.briteccomputers.co.uk ———————————————- www.britec.org.uk http

Have you ever had connection problems, or have been banned from sites or forums? Well this little video shows you the most common fix for that problem. (usually a problem on large networks like school) Step 1, Open Command Prompt (start-run-“cmd”) XP (start-search bar, enter “cmd”) Vista, & 7 Step 2, Type “ipconfig /release” Step 3, Type “ipconfig /renew” Note: In Vista right click, then “run as administrator” that will fix the privileges problem. This renews you IP address with the DHCP server. You have a chance of getting the same IP address again. If this happens, try this process again or check out the video response to change your IP statically.

The most common difficulties in setting up server-based software for business, gaming, VoIP, and online media streaming are related to router configurations issues. These problems are usually solved with port forwarding. This video explains port forwarding, and is part of a series of tutorials about how to make your computer accessible from the Internet, found at www.nch.com.au

Ever wonder why the software you use on the web never seems to meet all your needs? This short vid I made gives the #1 reason why (in language everyone can understand!). If you’ve been involved in the process at all, then don’t be surprised if some of this looks painfully familiar (and maybe funny too).
