devirkahan.com – After I realized that the batteries in my Apple Wireless keyboard were dying too quickly (after about 5 days) I decided to give Apple customer support a call. My past experiences with them have been very good, and this time was no exception. They sent me a new keyboard no problem and free of charge. However, as I found out afterwards from an online forum, the problem was not hardware, but a software bug. For some reason the new Magic Mouse does not let the keyboard go to sleep and that is why the batteries were dying so quickly. I have switched back to my old Mighty Mouse and can say that it was indeed the Magic Mouse. My keyboard has not gone down even ONE PERCENT in the past two days. It’s up to Apple now to release a fix, and they had better do so soon!
