This video is brought to you by: www.pcmichiana.com Today’s video shows you how to properly use the new SuperAntiSpyware Online Scanner Spyware Removal utility. For those of you who have not worked with SuperAntiSpyware’s regular Free antispyware utility, this is a great piece of software with solid detection rates and definitions. The best feature of this online scanner is that it has a .OLS extension which keeps viruses from blocking the standard .EXE extensions associated with virus removal. This is a tool everyone should have in their virus removal utility belt… did I just say utility belt? I believe I did – because all of us geeks have one.

I decided to release my 3D reconstruction software, even though nobody will be able to compile it yet. The problem is that it’s built on top of the Vrui VR toolkit, version 2.0, which is not released yet. But hopefully in a few days. At that point, it will definitely build on Linux, and probably on Mac OS X if you find a Mac version of the libusb-1.0 library (which I think exists). Until then, you can at least look at some of the algorithms — which are not actually all that complicated. The software is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2, and can be downloaded from my R&D page: idav.ucdavis.edu

This video shows how to fix the tray of a CD or DVD drive when it does not eject after pressing the eject button. Most of the times this problem is caused by a dried rubber band in the eject mechanism. Open the drive, replace the rubber band, and that’s it.
