Overall the interface is outstanding, the hardware looks promising, but we need more content in Canada. D-Link promises it’s coming soon though and we should start seeing firmware updates as often as WEEKLY to address this!

LG DoublePlay Unboxing The LG DoublePlay features a unique dual-screen design that is intended to make multi-tasking even easier. Does this system work? In this unboxing video, Sydney gets a first look at the DoublePlay and gives her first impressions of the device. With a 1 GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera that can capture HD video, it’s not a shabby phone, but is it worth considering given its odd form factor? The dual-screen idea is not a new one. Sprint carries a phone with a similar design, the Kyocera Echo. The problem is, that phone didn’t sell very well. Will the DoublePlay share the same fate or has LG found a way to incorporate this feature? Check back into PhoneDog for the full review to find out. daanberg.net – Here are the instructions Add the following line to the file /etc/sysctl.conf: net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling = 0 In this case, the problem is that your network card or extender doesn’t accept big TCP windows (when there are no problems with transmission, your computer makes those windows bigger for better performance). But with this parameter, the kernel knows that it should disable windows scaling.
