I woke up this morning and my Dell monitor was apparently dead. I noticed that the power button didn’t snap in and out like the others so I figured that the snappy thing must have broke and I immediately began the tear down and repair. Also, I forgot to show and mention that there are four black screws on the back of the monitor housing where the stand connects that must be removed before the housing can be lifted off. And please excuse my messy hair. After all, I had just awakened to a dead Dell monitor and had to immediately begin a rescue!!

Here are two awesome malware / virus removal tools that I’ve been using for quite a while. Last I checked, they were both very highly rated for their detection rates. Please take into consideration that not all viruses and other malware can be removed with ONE “do it all” tool. In certain cases, an expert may be necessary to do a combination of manual removal, automatic removal, etc. If you need help with virus removal, call Kaddy’s Computer Repair @ 562-448-2171, or visit us at www.kcomputerrepairoc.com. Thanks for watching!

This tutorial will show you how to enable and disable the hidden admin account that is within your operating system which microsoft decided to hide. You will need to use cmd (command prompt) to enable and disable it and its best to use this account if you are troubleshooting problems or need to change anything within the system. To enable in cmd use “net user administrator /active:yes” (without the “”) and to disable it use “net user administrator /active:no” (without the “”) make sure to right click and run as an administrator to use the command in cmd. Hope this helps alot of you guys out and please leave me your comments and feedback on this.

I was struggling with overheating in my Acer 5738G while gaming or other processor intensive operations. After trying many methods, I’ve found this to be the easiest and the most practical of them all. Be sure to set the “minimum processor state” to lower or equal to the “maximum processor state” Now you can enjoy your games without worrying about your laptop turning off on you. Enjoy!. Sorry for the crappy video quality. I currently run my own computer repair business in my free time and am able to fix anything either by remotely logging into your computer, or by having you ship it to me. I charge way less than any store you can go to. I can fix computer crashes, remove viruses, recover lost files, replace cracked laptop screens, replace broken laptop keyboards, tune-up your computer for better speed, and anything else you need. Don’t pay $150-$300 to a major store and don’t waste your money on a new computer. I’ll make it as good as new.

Here is an Acer TravelMate 8000 model 8003LMi. This is what happens when you try to turn it on. It just makes some loud beeping noises. I was told that it was a motherboard problem, so I ended up selling it on ebay.

Edit-Holy crap, +1700 views! I had no idea that many people had problems with microphones… Alright, someone had requested that I create a video on how to fix a problem they had with their microphone not working on their Windows 7. So here’s the video. Please keep in mind that its been months since I first messed around with the options and got my own microphone to work, so don’t give me crap about the steps being a bit rough. Hope this will clear up the problem the person had with their microphone. I think the main problem was that the computer wasn’t recognizing the microphone. Luckily, that problem is fixable, and much more easier to fix than other potential problems. Here are websites I found that can provide clear step-by-step details on how to get the computer to recognize your microphone: windows.microsoft.com www.ehow.com My computer usually doesn’t look this slow; the recording program slowed it down a bit, so ignore some of the hiccups in the video. Nemesis the Warlock themes and the Gauntlet Legends theme Toxic Spire belong to their respective owners. Ironically, my microphone acted funny when I recorded my voiceover; I couldn’t hear any sound from the microphone, yet it still recorded. Go figure. :/
