Help needed for my LG Flatron W2242T-PF LCD Monitor!!! Don’t really know what’s happening here and couldn’t find any answer closed to my problems before I decided to take any actions of repairing this monitor by myself. I’d owned this monitor for almost 3 years since Jan-2009 and it was on my wife’s PC. She hardly use, maybe about an hour or two per day, and it’s mainly for her surfing the web and so on, and she don’t play any hardcore/graphical intense games. This problem had occured about 3 days back without a warning except an electrical buzzing sound from a Choke or an Invertor behind the panel, since about six months of usage before I’d passed down to her, and I don’t think the buzzing sound would cause this on 4:55 ~ 5:30. I had dismantled it to check the capacitors and none of them seemed to be bloated which I’d initially thought of to be causing this problem. I’d checked the ribbon cable leading from the PCB to the LCD panel and the backlight, no problems found. So, what’s the real problem here? This is Mainly for The Forums 😛 When Ever i play a game, my mouse and keyboard randomly disconnect and then reconnect, WEIRD, and i know i didnt really get any proper footage of ingame but, my frames NORMALY drop reaptivly say 200-40-100-20-300,ect And considering i have GTX 285 graphics card AMD Phenom II x4 3.4ghz 4 GB RAM That is obviously not right if i get frames like that on a little custom map that is pretty much just a box and i get random fps drop like that. SO Please help as much as possible.

My 4 years old graphic card 8800GTS 512MB, died The motherboared (GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3 ) beepd and the screen was black. looking at the motherboard codes (www.comptechdoc.org I found out its a graphic card problem. So I took it to a tech support and they said the same – “The graphics card is dead and there is nothing wrong with the motherboard”. they tried a diffrent graphic card and said it was working (I never checked their card myself). anyhow, I bought a new graphic card (HD6850 1GB) and installed it, The result is what you see in the video – same problem. I dont know what to do, please help me! EDIT after fix: Oh my, what an idiot.. that’s just shows how unexperianced I am There were 2 connectors on the graphic card for the power supply and I connected only one. Thx the guy from HwZone.co.il Forum. Cheers! Now i’ll enjoy my HD6850 1GB on my 32 inch LED TV

MacBook Pro hooked up to HP 24″ monitor LP2475w via DisplayPort cable. Monitor was working fine with a different computer. Apple geniuses tried everything with the MBP and finally agreed to give me a new one. This one has the same problem of randomly blinking, but ONLY when set at a high resolution (required for photo editing). Based on support forums on manufacturers’ websites, many people have been exchanging monitors and laptops with this problem and I haven’t seen what the real solution is. Please post if you know the answer. Thank You!
