HP G62 Laptop Screen Flickering
Problems we encountered with an HP G62 Laptop / Notebook computer are; with the power button activated – monitor is not working, rolling screen, monitor flickers, screen flashes or is blinking, or will fade to white or black with frequent horizontal lines. Probable cause is a damaged monitor cable in the hinge area. We will demonstrate how to replace the monitor cable and remove the accumulated dust within the CPU heat sink.
HP Monitor Failure
For some weird reason, when I power up the desktop, the monitor refuses to work. Nothing seems to happen at all. “No input signal” is prompted on the useless monitor afterwards. Several attempts with unplugging the monitor, checking the cables in the back of the monitor and at the back of the machine, everything seems to be connected well. Bare in mind, this NEVER happened before. Never. This only started happening a week and a half ago. The video card is also in good health, too. About 2 and a half hours after this video, it finally came back on. I moved the monitor, it came back on, when I go to adjust the screen back a bit, it goes off again. I’m thinking here that it’s a connection problem. Either that or the monitor is just dying out. What do you think the problem is?
My new HP 2311x LED computer monitor
I waited all day for the new HP 2311x LED monitor. At 4:30 PM I checked into the FexEx site and it said that at 12:30 PM it was signed for by someone. Well FedEx left it at the apartment office. So I got the new monitor. It is nice. I think it is sharper. I do know that the whites are white and now I can see on the monitor that the whites now appear a bit yellow or off white. I never noticed it until I put this new monitor next to the old one. Well I have found a problem. When I turned the LED monitor on my ham radio went crazy. It had been on all day and not a sound out of it. The LED monitor is transmitting interference. I had to take my ham radio all the way into the kitchen for it to stop. When I came back into the bedroom with ham radio I tuned off the LED monitor and the interference came to a stop. The ham radio was set to two meter VHF repeaters. I did not check on 440 mHz. If you are a ham, shortwave listener or someone that uses VHF for something you may have a problem with an LED monitor. Howard’s Notebook: hnbbs.net
