This is my 1 1/2 yr.old monitor who serve me well,one of the best monitor i ever had..sadly she got a problem the screen suddenly turned to black even i reboot my sytem still the same so i contacted samsung and said the probs maybe on backlight…tnk God the chap i spoken to said the magic word that they gonna replace it with new one..yes!
Less than three months of working correctly after Samsung replaced the screen, this problem has started again. If you are having a similiar problem with your N120 please upload video so Samsung becomes addresses this problem. The build month of my N120 is April 2009.
The display does not work when there is VGA signal input and later you turn on the monitor. The monitor opens but there is no video displayed.
Ubuntu 8.04 on a Macbook2,1. Setting the laptop’s display to “Off” and external to its highest resolution yields this… Notice the problem goes away when the “Appearance Preferences” window opens by attempting to change the desktop background.

HP 2159m monitor problem. I bought this monitor a little while back and when the monitor goes to sleep it never ‘wakes back up again.’ I don’t know why this happens. Here is a video on exactly what happens in my problem. It looks like it never reconnects to the computer again. However, when I restart the computer then it connects to the computer just fine. So I can use the monitor like I am using now but when the monitor goes to sleep I can’t use it again unless I restart my computer. Intended for HP Technicians. Thank you for your time and help. I tried it with a different computer and the monitor was able to re-find the connection when I turned if off then back on again.
