This video looks at internet protocol, or IP addresses, and why it’s important to stay up to speed on their new versions. Users browse the web or send email over the Internet using Internet Protocol or IP addresses. The set of unique IP addresses that has fueled the explosive growth of the Internet for over 30 years, has nearly run out. A new version of IP, is version 6, or IPv6 has been developed to add substantial addressing capacity to Internet addresses. The current version, IPv4, features 32 bit addresses which supports over 4 billion unique IP addresses ‘IPv6 addresses’ is 128 bits, and theoretically supports 340 trillion, trillion, trillion addresses; The only problem is that there is no easy upgrade path and IP network managers need to manage the deployment of IPv6 while continuing to maintain their IPv4 address space. The other twist is that while IPv4 addresses are represented as decimal numbers, IPv6 is denoted in hexadecimal, adding to the IP manager’s challenges. Wrap: Fortunately, many of the IP address allocation and assignment practices are similar and an IPv4/IPv6 address management solution can help IP managers accurately and confidently manage IPv6 deployments within an IPv4 network.

We test Vita’s ability to ad-hoc in PSP games, and against the PSP in this video. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite requires a PS3 with ad-hoc party app downloaded in order to provide online play with other people. The PS3 must also be wired as the app doesn’t let you use otherwise.

Welcome back for Scenario 7. The gameplay here was actually broadcasted live on Twitch TV earlier. Considering that, there are a few things to note about the video in general: 1. The stream was actually broadcasted in standard definition (my mediocre internet connection doesn’t allow me to broadcast in HD without problems), so the video quality will be a bit on the not-so-good side. And before you say “why didn’t you use VBA’s recording feature”, well that’s because when I start recording, my emulator tends to lag while playing with the recording going, and since I was showing this live, I didn’t think the live stream viewers would’ve enjoyed that small lag fest. Perhaps for future streams I could work out a non-laggy way of recording amidst streaming. 2. The first few minutes in, the audio is echoed. This is because when I started streaming, I stupidly left the page for the channel (where it was being shown) open on my internet browser, so it gets mixed into the audio here. Thankfully a viewer pointed it out so I could fix it early on, but yeah… 3. I didn’t realize this until the stream was over, but the video is actually cropped off a bit on the sides, oops! First up, former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes has been formally charged with DUI. The actress has plead not guilty to the charge which stems from an incident in April where she clipped a police car and allegedly tried to flee the scene.
